Nova Scotia’s Acadian Seaplants Looks to Boost India Footprint
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia-headquartered Acadian Seaplants' subsidiary company Acadian Seaplants India, is looking to expand its footprints in the country and has reportedly opened a processing facility in collaboration with Standard Pesticides at Vadodara, Gujarat. Acadia Seaplants has also partnered with 13 Indian agricultural colleges to test their products in India. The company produces seaweed-based products for food, biochemical, agricultural, and agri-chemical markets in Asia and globally. Its India venture involves organic tea plantations in the northeast region of the country.
