Quebec's Nuran Wireless Partners with Chinese Research Centre
Quebec City-headquartered Nuran Wireless Inc. has entered into a collaborative agreement on 'Massive MIMO,' an area of 5G wireless research, with China's National Engineering Research Center of Communication and Network Technology of the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT). NUPT is one of the best research centres in China and known worldwide for its contributions in the field of cellular communications, Internet of Things (IoT), satellite communications, and deep space communications. Nutaq also announced a purchase order of approximately C$140,000 from NUPT for a 5G Massive MIMO system. The company said it is actively expanding its footprint into China to capitalize on the tremendous expected growth of the country in wireless data consumption and IoT.
