The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada is pleased to invite you to a Canadian Women's International Network (CanWIN) Webinar, hosted by APF Canada and CanWIN. The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, May 22 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (ET).
The Indo-Pacific region has become an economic powerhouse — and Canada is actively engaging with the region through its Indo-Pacific Strategy, with mechanisms to enhance Canadian trade and investment with the region.
Women and gender-diverse people can play a pivotal role in promoting trade and investment between Canada and the Indo-Pacific. This webinar is an opportunity for women and gender-diverse people from across Canada to learn about upcoming opportunities with APF Canada to explore new global markets in the region.
APF Canada will also share more information about the recently launched women-only business mission to Taiwan and Vietnam from November 17 to 23, 2024.
The May 22 event will also feature guest speakers who will share their insights on the Indo-Pacific's economic landscape and discuss their experiences facilitating trade and investment between Canada the Indo-Pacific, alongside a Q&A for webinar participants seeking to enhance their engagement with the region.

The Canadian Women’s International Network (CanWIN), presented by Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada), is pleased to invite you to our inaugural CanWIN Global Summit (CGS). In Southeast Asia, human security threats are apparent in the domains of health, labour, climate and environment, and trade and economic development. This conference will consider these emerging human security questions in the region. It will examine the role of both state and non-state actors in addressing these challenges, including the relevance of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.
